Christina Cantrill of the National Writing Project worked with I Was A Kid's Karen Romano Young to create a virtual workshop about science notebooks for their Write Out event. Karen consulted several of the I Was A Kid profilees to ask how they used and developed their notebook practices, and they shared samples, explaining on video what they were doing on each.  Among them was Bridget Ye, a master's student in science communication, who appeared as a guest at the virtual workshop, sharing her art and writing practice.
